Alliance Women

Alliance Women is a functioning part of Greensburg Alliance Church in carrying out Christ's Great Commission. It is our goal to involve every woman attending Greensburg Alliance Church in the ministries of Alliance Women.

Be a "Thirst Quencher"!
Our theme reflects the fact that we are spiritually thirsty. Jesus is the living water given to quench that thirst. Then, in turn, as our spiritual thirst is quenched, we can help others find the water of life.

Join us at Alliance Women as we share who we are in Christ through:
Fellowship: Discover relationships of mutual encouragement & support through being together and learning from God's Word.
Discipleship: To encourage the study of God's Word and to inspire women to follow Christ through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.
Outreach: Influence the lives of friends and neighbors through the sharing of God's love.
Missions: Enjoy the satisfaction of impacting the world for Jesus Christ through a vibrant partnership with Alliance missionaries.
Prayer: Realize the tremendous power of God and the dynamic results available through prayer.

Our regular Alliance Women meetings are on the 3^rd Thursday of each month at 6:30pm in the Conference Room of the church.

Note: No regular meeting in August.

Discipleship Thought for August: We, as disciples, are to love others – particularly our enemies. Jesus said, "But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven." (Matt. 5:44)

Stamp Ministry

Proceeds go towards Spanish-language Sunday School Curriculum

Save your postage stamps. One of the ongoing projects of Alliance Women is to collect used postage stamps to help provide curriculum for churches and missions in Latin America.

Please bring your stamps to the church information center. If you want to trim the envelopes around the stamp, leave a border of 1/4 to 1/2 inch around the stamp .

Thanks for your support of this important ministry.

Alliance Women collect Campbell's Soup labels to benefit the International School of Dalat, Malaysia and to help provide musical instruments for Missionary Kids. Clip labels and bring them to the Information Center at church. Check the Labels for Education website for a list of eligible products and directions for clipping.
